Arckanum is the name of a Swedish black metal band. They formed in 1993 and released their debut album in 1995. Their lyrics are written in Old Swedish and deal mainly with the worship of Chaos and Pan. Johan "S" Lahger (or Shamaatae) is the the only regular member of Arckanum. He was the author of a book entitled PanParadox – Pan Towards Chaos.
